Higashikawa 2M house is a beautiful house, built in the snowy plains of Hokkaido. This documentary not only captures the architecture, but also the lifestyle and heart of the people who live there.
Kappa House
The site was originally part of a large garden from its neighbor's house, therefore the aim of this house was not to build in a residential area, but to build as if in a garden. The owner of the house plays a unique role as a Kappa street performer for his living.
ORTHO
This ranch-style home is located in a quiet suburban neighborhood in the Kanto region. The clients purchased the tiered, irregularly shaped lot as a place to spend meaningful time as a family. They wanted courtyards to play a big part in their home life, and to fulfill that request, the design makes use of the distinctive property shape and topography.
INFINITY
The residence stands on the gentle slope of a mountain overlooking the sea located in Okinawa. The image aims to fully portray the architecture's design that provides the stunning broad view. Okinawa is tend to be symbolized in three colors - blue, white and green. By adding colors like gold of the glow in the morning sky and orange of the setting sun, it makes it possible to show the greater diversity of Okinawa.
TIMELESS
designed as a celebration of raw concrete, the ‘timeless’ house in tokyo is designed by japanese practice apollo architects & associates, headed by satoshi kurosaki. from the exterior, the building is expressed as a stack of two monolithic volumes divided by a single ribbon window. with this horizontal glazing the upper block seems to float over the lower, even cantilevering outward with a sense of lightness.
GRACE
GRACE is a compact, cozy private house designed by Apollo Architecture. It is located approximately 10km from central Tokyo. This video clip aims to create a small but timeless story by reflecting the colors changing over time and the movement of a model staying in GRACE.
Il Terrazzo di Yatsugatake
This compact villa is designed to enjoy the marvelous view spread in front of you. This single-sided roof gives a light and floating impression through the glass window. Moreover, you can feel the space expanding from inside the room.
WATER GLASS VILLA
This villa is located in a tranquil forest at the foot of Mount Fuji. This beautiful form, extending through the trees on the ample grounds, and the open feeling of the horizontal living space, are distinctive features.
